Siasa ya ID — Your ID Process Experience
Siasa ya ID is a civic advocacy initiative by Siasa Place that raises awareness about challenges in Kenya's national identity registration process. Through community engagement, personal experiences and public advocacy, the initiative amplifies the voices of people facing barriers to obtaining their IDs and calls for a fairer, more accessible and accountable registration process. It highlights the importance of identification in accessing essential services, opportunities and full participation in civic life.
WritAfrica
WritAfrica is a youth storytelling and mentorship initiative that empowers emerging writers, poets, spoken-word artists and illustrators to develop their creative skills and amplify their voices. Through storytelling, the initiative explores community challenges, promotes civic awareness and inspires action on governance, accountability and social change.
Project ETHER
Project ETHER (Ethical Tech Ecosystem for Human Rights) is a Siasa Place initiative working towards a fair, inclusive and human rights-centred digital economy. The project advocates for decent working conditions for digital and gig workers, greater accountability from technology companies, environmental justice and the protection of democratic participation in an increasingly digital world.
