Call for a Board Member with Finance Expertise – Voluntary Position
As part of strengthening governance and financial oversight, Siasa Place is looking to bring on board a professional with a strong finance, administration and audit background to support the organization at the Board level.
We are particularly seeking someone with experience in areas such as:
- Financial management and oversight
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Audit and compliance processes
- Nonprofit/CSO financial governance
- Risk management and accountability
- Financial sustainability and institutional growth
The individual would support the Board by:
- Providing strategic financial guidance
- Strengthening financial oversight and accountability mechanisms
- Supporting discussions around sustainability and resource management
- Advising on governance and compliance matters related to finance
- Terms of Appointment
- This is a voluntary, non-executive Board position.
- The successful candidate will serve as Chairperson of the Finance & Administration Sub-Committee and, as a member of the Board.
- Board members serve in accordance with the organization’s governing documents and applicable laws.
- Reasonable expenses incurred while undertaking approved Board duties may be reimbursed in line with organizational policies.
